Country Club Pet Hospital, a CareVet partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Veterinarian to join our growing two doctor practice in Mansfield, TX. This position offers a six-figure base salary plus production, $150k bonus package, paid family leave, and schedule flexibility.
About the Position
We are looking for a small animal Veterinarian to join our tenured team. In addition to companion animals, we also offer medicine and surgical services to exotic animals (excluding birds and reptiles). An interest in exotics would be ideal, but not required. Our patient case load is currently 15% exotics. We offer state-of-the-art care and pride ourselves on building lasting relationships with our clients.
About the Hospital
We have 4,500 sf of space and 5 exam rooms in addition to a modern surgical suite. We have two dental machines and digital radiography, and a very well-maintained building and facility. Our services range from wellness to advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, breeding, nutrition, and boarding.

Responsibilities
- Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problems
- Treat and dress wounds
- Perform surgery on animals
- Test for and vaccinate against diseases
- Operate medical equipment, such as x-ray machines
- Advise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatments
- Prescribe medication
- Work closely in collaboration with team members to provide high-quality care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
- Licensure in the state/s candidate will be working
- Ability to show compassion to both pets and their owners
- Outstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasks
- Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the well-being of an animal
- Strong fondness and understanding of animals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of animal behavior
- Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research, and surgery of animals
